Step Nine - Services and Product Directories
Another very important place to promote your site online, are the thousands of services, products and links directories online.
By now you will have performed many searches in the search engines and have a very long list of websites that come up with your keywords. From this list you will have found a lot of link pages that are really just a collection of links.
If you have not already tried adding your site to these directories, now is the time to do so.
- The other place to add links is:
- Industry Associations;
- Chamber of Commerce’s;
- Local Business Guides; etc
Think outside the box
Think laterally and start to think about where your users might go on the web for information related to your website, but not necessarily know what they are looking for or what keywords to use.
Make a list and then request a link or add your website to the directory!
